Poor Kid

This kid is quite possibly my favorite little brother. A couple weeks ago he broke his arm snowboarding. Sometime this week, he is probably having surgery. I feel sorry for the poor kid. He is actually a pretty active boy as you can see in the ridiculous amount of pictures following. I just couldn't decide which were my favorites. Each picture has such great memories accompanying it. I hope that all goes well with his surgery and that his road to recovery will be speedy.

Uganda here I come!

Tonight, I met with my Help International group that is going to Uganda. The reality that I am going to Africa finally sunk it. I can hardly wait! Both my country directors are amazing talented women. I want to be like them. I am excited to work side by side with them. Next summer, I would like to be a country director. I think that would be one of the most amazing jobs ever. These next three months are going to be the longest three months of my life. The following are pictures of the village Lugazi in which I will be staying.

GURU'S

Last saturday, Lauren and I went to Guru's to eat sweet potato fries and to watch a free comedy show. The comedian was terrible but the food was great. I even got a huckleberry pop. Supposedly, it was bottled in Jackson Hole, Wyoming which made it even more appetizing. Someday, I will go to Jackson Hole. I even made a fool of myself by making a ginger comment that was overheard by a neighboring ginger. I definitely got the "stink eye" from him. Lauren and I took that as our signal to leave Guru's and the terrible comedian. We came home and this parasite I call Sophie decided to jump on me. Lana also joined in. Here are the pictures from the evening.
